Team Psycho Soldiers is looking to add a few more members to our team.  Please read below for all information and if you are truly interested send an e-mail.

What we're looking for:  We are looking for a few new members this summer.  We are looking for 1 to 2 members to play on our main tournament squad and a few members to play on our practice squad.  We're looking to train our practice squad members to one day be on our starting tournament team.  Because there are many tournament all over the country we'd also like to form a team of secondary Psycho Soldiers.

Requirements for potential members:  We understand that there is more to life than halo.  Most of the members in PS hold jobs and go to school.  However we require all members have dedication to practice.  If you are a local member we expect to practice with you at least 2-3 times a week especially right before a big tournament.  If you are a member that isn't local we expect you to be able to drive down and practice with us in person at least once every two weeks.  We also expect you to be able to play with us online.  Tournament starter members must also have the ability to go to tournaments.  This includes paying for their personal expenses and driving or sometimes flying many hours.  We want members that take playing halo seriously.  It's more than just a game to us.  We love to compete in halo and expect the same serious mentality of the game from you.

The tryout:  The tryout process is pretty simple.  If you don't live in east Lansing the first thing we'll do is play you a few games online.  If we like what we see we'll have you come down to east Lansing for a more extended tryout.  The formal tryout will be a 1 vs. 1 with a member of the current ps team on Hangem and Wizard slayer pro.  After the 1 v 1 you will team up with another ps member for a few 2 v 2 games.  What we're looking for is skill, teamwork, and ability to adjust.  After the games we'll hang with you for a bit and try to get to know you.  Don't expect to play one 1 vs. 1 and get accepted.  The tryout process will usually take 1-2 weeks before you are offered a position on the team.  When we do offer you a position we'll let you know if we think your a practice member that needs to work to get to tournament starter or if we think you can jump in and compete in tournaments right away.  Every potential member must go through this process.
